Watcher Watcher 0.2.42

Additional information (may be somewhat dated): Help file, Screenshots

New features in 0.2.42:

New cache types
All known new cache types are now supported.
Type plugin system
Cache types, log types, and cache sizes are now stored (with their descriptions and any relevant icons) in replaceable, extendable plugins (of which there is currently one example). Additionally, the changes required to implement the new plugin system will allow you to work with unknown types as if they were known, so no more waiting for an update to use new types (although the plugins allow updates to be created much more easily.

New features in 0.1.41:

Fixed duplicate caches in a GPX bug
Using gpsbabel to create merged GPX files with duplicate caches will no longer cause Watcher to choke on loading the mis-merged files. (You shouldn't have run into this, but apparently several people have; Watcher will handle it now.)
New log type: "Write Note"
Watcher now directly handles the "Write Note" log type. As far as is known, Watcher now handles all current log types. ;)
New Travel Bug map links
In addition to the TB page and the track map, Watcher now includes the link to the new step-by-step TB map.
European street map link update
Thanks to Åke S for the parameter to add to MapPoint URLs for detailed European street maps. Detailed maps are now available for Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. (If adding "&L=EUR" to the end of your MapPoint URL gives you detailed street maps and your country is not listed, e-mail it and it'll be added to the list.)

New features in 0.1.40:

Added map links
For caches in the United States, you now have your choice of Geocaching.com map, two street map links, two topo map links, and two photo map links. If you're outside the US, you don't get topo or one of the photo map links, but the others are still there (more or less).
Username links
Right-click any name on a log or cache and you now get direct links to their Geocaching.com profile, hides, finds, and email.
Select all
Well, those of you who wanted to check/uncheck all in the found, ignored, and marked lists can now right-click any of those boxes on the main page. It's not much, but you wanted it, and now you have it. :)

New features in 0.1.39:

New log types supported
The two new log types Geocaching.com added are now supported in Watcher. ("Note" and "Webcam Photo Taken" are the new types, in case you're counting.) Additional support was added for unhandled cache, log, and container types; so Watcher should handle it more gracefully when next we have a surprise.
Better bmgpx support
A bug preventing merges with benchmark files created by bmgpx has been patches. You should be able to merge your cache and benchmark files now, which should please those of you who have been trying.
Cache Notes and Lists
Updated the cache notes and lists handling code to be safer when using multiple copies of Watcher simultaneously.
Additional general fixes
Several minor issues with Watcher were also corrected or patched to provide a little more sanity to your Watcher usage. Thanks again to brdad and the other Watcher testers for finding the more obscure bugs.

New features in 0.1.38:

Cache Notes (fixed)
Oops... looks like I made one little mistake. The cache notes should stay around the way they're supposed to now. (Guess both I and the testers were a little rusty.)
GPX Stats
Well, I can't *just* fix bugs, can I? The new stats (File | Stats) window tells you some nice little details about the caches you're currently viewing. Just in case you've ever wondered just how large a fraction the virtuals in your Pocket Query really are.

New features in 0.1.37:

Cache Notes
You can now add notes to caches in Watcher. Watcher will save the notes and use them whenever that cache is loaded. Additionally, when you save a GPX file from Watcher, it will save the cache notes for any of the caches in the GPX. (They'll show up as notes logged on the cache by "WatcherGPX" with tomorrow's date.)
Offline Mode
If you're working offline, or merely want to turn off all the extra graphics hiders put on their cache pages, choose "Offline Mode" from the options menu. External graphics will be disabled, and the Geocaching.com links from Watcher will be disconnected. Excellent for working with a GPX on a laptop on the road.
Smiley Filter
You an now filter by cache status (i.e. "smileys"). Now you don't have to see those red frownies or purple faces. Hehe, or you can make Watcher only see ghosts and grey faces... but who would ever do that? ;)
Other assorted improvements
There are other improvements in Watcher 0.1.37, but most of them are under the hood. If there's something you simply *must* have, feel free to let us know.
